The Solo Lab presents the opportunity to develop our solo choreographic practice through ongoing engagement and development. The workshop supports artists working solo through a shared space structure allowing us to draw on the presence of other artists to support our own processes. The session begins with a sharing of intentions, followed by a two hour working time. Participants are encouraged to spend some of the session observing others. You can bring your own prompts and resources or you can borrow others’. The aim is to develop solo material alongside each other, allowing for disruptions, collisions and collaborations to happen. Sessions end with a final recollection of work done.
The next Solo Lab is due to take place in Spring 2019. Contact Marguerite via the contact page to register your interest.
